When the museums reopened I bought a family membership for the Milwaukee Art Museum. It is only 20 minutes away by car and with the membership you can go as much as you want without having to spend hours to make the most of your ticket.
Only one floor is currently open. The café that overlooks the lake, the kids art studio and the shop are closed. You need to book your timed tickets in advance. But it doesn’t matter, it is still worth it. The building is as impressive as always, the collection has a bit of everything, and they keep on having exhibits, even if some were moved online.
We go for cake after the visit, that is my bribe for the kids. I think they would still come without the cake but I am the first one that likes cake.
Other random stuff I liked:
David Hockney interviews and videos.
Shashiko mending when my favorite pajamas broke.
The Simpathizer and Luster.
How Do I trust That I am Enough?
